THE SPACE

The primary bedroom brings together a stunning combination of blues with a king bed, windows overlooking the yard, two nightstands with bedside lamps, and a soft area rug on top of gorgeous new grey floors. The primary bedroom features its own private en-suite bath with a walk-in tile shower and luxury-grade hospitality bath and beauty products.
Just down the hall is a massive second bedroom offering two queen beds and another private en-suite bathroom with tiled shower and garden tub.
Finally, in the third bedroom, you’ll find another queen bed in a gorgeous farmhouse checkerboard design. All the bedrooms feature luxury hospitality-grade mattresses, linens and bath products so that you fall asleep in no time at all. You don’t have to leave the comfort of your bed to catch a favorite show; there are brand new smart TV's in each room, and YouTube TV is provided for guests' use.

The warm and welcoming living room centers around a classic farmhouse-style fireplace that adds a warm glow to the room on those chilly evenings. There's a mounted flat-screen TV just above, and the brand new leather sofas ensure everyone gets the best seat in the house. Pop some popcorn and enjoy a family movie night together.

The home sits on 1.5 acres in Sister Bay and offers a quiet and peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. A cozy, shaded front porch welcomes you home and is complete with outdoor lounge furniture to sit and enjoy your morning coffee in the vibrant air. Outside also features an outdoor bar for your family gatherings, a beautiful new fire pit area, horseshoe pits and multiple yard games. Two inflatable standup paddle-boards with life jackets and four sets of snowshoes are available to help you on your adventures.

Northwoods Farmstead offers guests a combination of modern comfort and farm-style tradition. However, we work hard to ensure our guests have unbeatable amenities to create a truly memorable vacation.
Outdoor Bar: Our outdoor bar is an amenity that truly stands out. During the busy summer months in Door County, the outdoor bar is the best way to end the day. There are six barstools at the bar, and there's additional seating via bench seating surrounding the bar. The vintage string lights create a natural ambiance for your group to relax with.
Fire Pit: The fire pit provides the perfect end to your vacation evenings. We offer eight Adirondack chairs with cupholders surrounding the fire pit, as well as additional seating if needed. We provide a starter pack of fire wood for guests, and guests can procure additional wood if needed.
Paddle Boards: We provide two inflatable stand up paddle boards for our guests to use. We have two life jackets (adult universal size), the paddles, waterproof bags, the boards, air pumps, and a video guide on how to use them. However, note that if you're looking forward to exploring Door County by water via our paddle boards, transportation of them is something you should consider prior to your trip. While our home is less than a mile from downtown Sister Bay, we are located right off Highway 57, and walking into town with the paddle boards is not a feasible trek. So, if you're looking to head into Sister Bay or to another area of Door County with the paddle boards in tow, please be sure to note that you'll need a truck to transport them, or an SUV that can support having them tied to the top.
Bag Toss: There is plenty of green space to spread out and enjoy a sunny day in Sister Bay at Northwoods Farmstead. We offer a custom bag toss set for your group to enjoy.
Kuub: Enjoy a day outside playing the lawn game where the objective is to knock over wooden blocks by throwing wooden batons at them. We offer a custom set for your group to enjoy.
Horseshoes: Spend some quality time with your family and friends enjoying our custom horseshoe pits.
Ping Pong: Gather with friends and family and start your own ping pong tournament (we've literally had this happen)! We have a full ping pong table, plus all the paddles and ping pong balls you could dream of. The table sits inside the garage, which is heated for enjoyment during the winter months.

When you stay at Northwoods Farmstead, you’ll have the property entirely to yourself. Take advantage of the amenities available; bring your laptops, connect to the WiFi, get work done before you play, and use the full-size washer and dryer in the private laundry room to stay on top of your laundry.
There is plenty of space to park on the driveway or in the garage, and you’ll be given a digital key code to access the property.
From here, you’re less than five minutes from the local grocery store, gas stations, coffee shops, locally-owned shops, ice cream shops, and some of the area’s most popular shops and restaurants. Plenty of off-street parking in the driveway and in the garage. Walking distance or a less than two minute drive to downtown Sister Bay, Twelve Eleven Wine Bar, and more!
The home is ideally located 2 minutes south of downtown Sister Bay, just off Highway 57. It's very easy to get to, but there also can be traffic on 57. While we're confident it won't hinder your stay, it's important to note that you may see or hear cars passing by the home on the highway. Additionally, while our home is close to most of downtown Sister Bay's main attractions, walking to town is not always simple, as Highway 57 is a busy road with small shoulders and no sidewalks or bike paths. We do recommend that guests be prepared to drive to and from our home as that's the best means of transportation to and from the house. However, we are also right off the Sister Bay shuttle bus's stop at Twelve Eleven wine, which runs to and from multiple locations surrounding Sister Bay every 30 minutes Thursday through Saturday, from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Northwoods Farmstead does have two external cameras monitoring the driveway as well as the fire pit, and also uses noise monitoring systems to monitor the noise on property.
